Meptura (Pvt) Ltd is a mechanical and fire engineering company based in Colombo. We design, supply, install, commission and maintain the systems that keep a building comfortable and keep the people in it safe — under one contract, with one team answerable for the result.
Most buildings end up with air conditioning from one contractor, detection from another and pumps from a third, and nobody owns the interface between them. We cover all five, which is why commissioning tends to go quietly.
We are the authorised agent for Armstrong in Sri Lanka. Armstrong was incorporated in 1934 under Samuel A. Armstrong and remains privately held, now under the third generation of family ownership, with products installed in some of the world’s premier facilities.

An agency is only worth something if it changes what the customer receives. Here is what it changes.
Equipment is selected with the manufacturer’s own software against the actual duty, not picked from a catalogue page. Design Envelope lets a pump be downsized at selection and still hold its efficiency across part load, which is where a building spends almost all of its life.
Controls and pump are warranted together for three years. When the drive sits on the pump rather than on a wall, there is no argument about whose component failed.
Every unit is factory tested and programmed, so what arrives on site behaves the way the submittal said it would. Our engineers handle start-up and hand over the building with the performance recorded.

We work across Sri Lanka from Angoda, on the eastern edge of the Colombo district. That puts most of the commercial and industrial work in the Western Province within a short drive, which matters more than it sounds when a plant room needs attending to the same day.
Site visits are arranged by email. Tell us the building, what the system is doing, and when access is possible, and an engineer will come out.
